South Broadway corridor sees another deadly shooting
This stretch of South Broadway has seen multiple shootings in recent months, including a late-night fatal attack in March and other gas-station incidents earlier this spring. Those cases are documented in the homicide tracker maintained by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and local reporting has repeatedly highlighted persistent violence along the corridor, including deadly 1 a.m. gunfire on South Broadway earlier this year.
No arrests or suspect descriptions had been announced as of Wednesday evening. Detectives continued processing the scene and are asking anyone with video, photos or other information related to the shooting to contact the Homicide Division.
