The attack happened just before 1:30 p.m. and left the woman with several gunshot wounds. She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she is listed in good condition.

Chicago police told investigators the woman was inside a vehicle when three people on foot walked up, pulled out guns and opened fire in her direction, according to CBS Chicago. The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition, and Area 5 detectives are handling the case. No further details were immediately released.
