Newly released body-worn camera footage drops viewers right onto a Miami Beach dock as officers move in on 45-year-old yacht owner Kutay Satiroglu, accused of trafficking teenage girls. The video shows police confronting Satiroglu on a vessel authorities say was docked behind a Pine Tree Drive home, then walking him off the boat and into custody. He remains jailed on multiple felony counts, including kidnapping and unlawful sexual activity with a minor.
The footage, obtained exclusively by WSVN, captures officers asking if Satiroglu lived at the address and whether there were any weapons nearby. He tells them a firearm is locked in the boat's safe and complies with commands. In a later courtroom scene, a judge reads out "Human trafficking" and orders him held without bond. The station reports the case began with a November 2025 call from a girl's mother, and the clip shows officers coordinating to interview the teen and summon human-trafficking detectives as the situation unfolded in real time.
Miami Beach police say they responded to the 5600 block of Pine Tree Drive, where the yacht was moored, and found a 17-year-old victim on board. She told investigators she had been working as a steward and was being held against her will. As reported by Local 10, the girl told detectives she was coerced into sex with paying clients and that cash from those encounters helped fund the household.
More accusers have since stepped forward. The Miami Herald reports one woman said she and other young women were treated as "party favors" at drug-fueled events and pressured to take cocaine and ketamine. Prosecutors later added trafficking and unlawful sexual-activity counts after that statement. Hoodline previously covered the yacht tycoon cuffed in November as the case first emerged.
Voices And Ex-Staff Accounts
Former employees who spoke with local outlets described an atmosphere of heavy drinking, drugs and coercion aboard the charters he ran. One ex-worker told NBC6 the operation felt "super sketchy," saying she was berated and pressured on the job and is now cooperating with prosecutors.
Legal Status And Next Steps
Authorities say Satiroglu faces about a dozen felony counts, including human trafficking, kidnapping and sexual activity with a minor, and that an immigration hold has been placed on him. A court calendar entry noted in the bodycam reporting lists a hearing on July 9, 2026, and investigators say the probe remains active as detectives search for more witnesses and evidence, according to WSVN.
