
Nighttime gunfire at a northwest Charlotte Walmart left one person hurt and sent officers racing to the scene, according to police.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. at the Walmart on Callabridge Court, where Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say one person was shot and taken for treatment with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators remained at the store late into the night. Officers did not immediately say whether anyone had been arrested.
