A quiet Sunday evening in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood turned chaotic when a person was shot in the head outside a gas station and rushed to the hospital, according to police. Another recent flare-up in Northside
The shooting comes just weeks after other violence in Northside, including a February 15 incident outside a nightclub on Hamilton Avenue that left two people dead and two others injured, as reported by WLWT. The neighborhood’s nightlife corridors have periodically drawn police attention as authorities and residents continue to debate how to handle safety and patrols.
Investigation ongoing
Detectives are still working to determine what led up to the gas station shooting, according to WCPO. Police have not released the victim’s name or provided a further update on their condition beyond describing the injury as non-life-threatening.
