Hamilton County Traffic Unit To Lead Investigation
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit will oversee the on-scene work, follow-up reconstruction, evidence collection, and report-writing tied to the crash. Those steps typically include coordinating with the coroner and prosecutors when a death is involved. As outlined in the Cincinnati Police Department crime-scene manual, traffic investigators are responsible for compiling official crash reports and may pursue testing or referrals depending on what the evidence shows.
What Comes Next
Norwood police said they plan to release more information after Hamilton County investigators complete their work. For now, the department’s initial media release and its Facebook post remain the primary public details on the crash, with any updates expected to come through the department’s established media channels.
