
Two adults were wounded in an early-morning shooting Thursday in Jennings and taken to a local hospital with injuries authorities described as not life-threatening. The gunfire broke out on the 2100 block of McLaran Avenue in North County, and police say the investigation is ongoing with no arrests announced so far.
The St. Louis County Police Department told KSDK that a call about the shooting came in at 1:08 a.m. Officers arrived on the 2100 block and found two adults with gunshot wounds, and both were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police said they did not have information on a possible suspect and confirmed that a separate shooting happened on the same block Wednesday, though detectives do not believe the two incidents are connected.

Detectives from the county bureau were canvassing the neighborhood Thursday as they worked leads in the case.
