Pretti Platters, a new breakfast and brunch spot run by a group of friends, quietly soft-opened last Tuesday at 810 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. The intimate daytime restaurant seats about 49 and offers a coastal French-American menu in downtown San Anselmo.
What they're serving
Shareable morning plates and elevated comfort dishes anchor the menu. Listed offerings include a charbroiled Monterey Bay branzino with Meyer lemon beurre blanc, a heritage pork chop with celery root purée and a house French toast. The site also notes a selection of toasts, pastries and a curated daytime wine list, according to Pretti Platters.
The team and sourcing
Owners describe the project as a friends-led effort, and "everyone has experience in restaurants," one partner told The Press Democrat. The team is leaning on a friend's farm for produce, plans to serve espresso made with Equator beans and built the small 49-seat dining room with morning and midday trade in mind, as reported by The Press Democrat.
Where it sits
The restaurant has taken over the former Ayurn Thai space near Red Hill, a location that drew attention during permitting and signage changes ahead of opening. Local coverage followed those permit updates and the storefront's return to active use, per Creekside.
