Coral Gables just landed a heavy hitter in the burger world. La Birra Bar, the Argentine smash-burger chain with a trophy shelf full of national and international awards, quietly flipped on the grills this week along Miracle Mile, drawing early lines of curious (and hungry) locals.
The new spot plants its flag at 219 Miracle Mile and marks the brand’s sixth South Florida location, joining existing shops in North Miami Beach, Wynwood, Fort Lauderdale, Doral and Weston, according to Miami New Times. The opening came with plenty of buzz as diners dove into the chain’s chimichurri-heavy sauces and its signature "pan de nube" buns, which are as soft as advertised.

The chain now leans on a proprietary blend of three Argentine beef cuts that are ground daily, paired with its ultra-soft "pan de nube" bun. That combo, the brand says, helps the patties develop a crisp exterior while avoiding the dreaded sogginess that can wreck a good burger.
