Police Investigation
Detectives with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department worked the scene, collecting evidence and talking with witnesses. A person of interest was detained, though no formal charges had been announced as of the latest update, WKRN reported. Investigators are asking anyone with information or relevant video to come forward to help them piece together what led up to the stabbing.
How To Help
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has footage that could aid the investigation is asked to call the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s non-emergency line at 615-862-8600 or submit tips through the department’s website, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. For emergencies, authorities remind the public to always call 911.
