A routine car pickup on a quiet Miami Gardens street turned grim Wednesday morning when a man was found dead inside an SUV in the 1400 block of Northwest 208th Street, authorities said. The person who came to retrieve a vehicle instead discovered the unresponsive man in a different SUV, and Miami‑Dade Fire Rescue medics pronounced him dead at the scene. Police have not released his name or age, and say the circumstances surrounding his death remain under investigation.
The discovery adds to a troubling run of violent and suspicious deaths in Miami Gardens this year. In March, police ruled the death of a woman found in a city lake a homicide, according to NBC6.
