According to WLWT, Hamilton County dispatchers received a report around 6:50 p.m. that a man may have been shot at the Woodmere complex on Round Top Road. Photos from the scene showed a heavy police presence as officers checked multiple buildings and parking areas. Colerain Township police responded to the call but did not confirm that anyone had in fact been shot, according to the station's report.

The township's website notes that the Colerain Township Police Department handles more than 45,000 calls for service each year, a reminder of how frequently officers are sent out across the community, according to Colerain Township.
