
Franklin police are asking residents to help track down a man wanted on an aggravated-assault warrant after an attack that left a woman injured outside a local home. Officers say the suspect is still on the run and warn the public not to approach him if he is spotted.
Police Seek Suspect
Investigators have identified the suspect as 57-year-old Reginald McLemore, who is accused of repeatedly slashing a woman outside a home on Cedar Drive, according to NewsChannel 5. The woman suffered lacerations to her face and body and was treated for injuries that were described as non-life-threatening.
What Police Say
Detectives told reporters the assault was not random and that McLemore and the victim knew each other, per WKRN. Police say McLemore has ties to Franklin and nearby Antioch and that finding him remains a priority for the department.
