
One person is dead after a Friday night shooting in Grainger County, Sheriff James Harville confirmed. Officials are holding back the victim's name while they notify family members and continue interviewing witnesses.
According to WATE 6 On Your Side, the shooting happened June 19, and no suspect has been publicly identified. The sheriff told the station that the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Grainger County Sheriff's Office as the probe remains active.
