A late-night burst of gunfire on Lyndale Avenue South left one man dead and another wounded early Sunday, Minneapolis police said. Officers found the first victim in critical condition in the street and later learned a second man had arrived at a hospital in a private vehicle.
Police were called around 1:20 a.m. to the 2100 block of Lyndale Avenue South, where they located the gravely injured victim, who later died at a hospital. The other man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe a group gathered in a parking lot was fired on by another group, and no arrests had been announced as of Sunday, according to FOX 9.
