The cafe is slated for roughly 1,800 square feet at 2620 N. Milwaukee Ave., with plans to hire about 15 employees, according to Chicago Business Journal. The brand's official locations page also lists a Logan Square outpost at 2620 North Milwaukee Avenue, confirming the address for the neighborhood's new smoothie stop. The Business Journal reports that the team behind the project already operates 11 other Tropical Smoothie locations across the Chicago area.

Franchisees Cesar Coronado and Marion Sullivan are leading the Logan Square launch and are no strangers to the brand, with multiple Tropical Smoothie stores already under their belt in the region. The pair have scheduled a grand opening for Saturday, June 27, with 50% off all orders that day and a giveaway of 10,000 free smoothies, according to WhatNow. "Logan Square has such a strong sense of community and energy, which made it a natural fit for our next cafe," Coronado told WhatNow, framing the opening as a neighborhood-focused move rather than just another dot on the franchise map.
Buildout and neighborhood context
Permit filings detail an interior build-out of about 1,796 square feet at the site, according to Chicago Cityscape's Logan Square place report. Nearby leasing materials play up the block's proximity to the Logan Square CTA Blue Line station and list Tropical Smoothie among incoming tenants, per a local flyer from Canvas Real Estate. The arrival slots into a run of new quick-service openings along Milwaukee Avenue and highlights how the corridor's retail mix keeps tilting toward fast-casual and grab-and-go concepts.
For commuters hustling to the train and neighbors looking for an easy lunch, the cafe will add one more option to the rotation. The Tropical Smoothie brand now counts more than 1,600 locations across 44 states, according to WhatNow, and Logan Square is next up on its local expansion list.
