Louis Vuitton has quietly slipped a new women’s boutique into the heart of the Miami Design District, opening a multilevel, resort-inspired space at 115 NE 41st Street. The temporary shop replaces the brand's previous women's location and revolves around a sculptural staircase that winds through light-filled galleries stocked with ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, watches, jewelry and fragrance. Commissioned artworks and a palm-tinged Alzer Pyramid of painted trunks give the whole place a distinctly museum-like vibe.
As reported by Time Out, the façade has been reimagined by London-based Raw-Edges Design Studio with "2D3D Miami" (2026), while Miami artist Alex Proba's "Whispering Forms" (2025) holds down the interior alongside works by Maia Ruth Lee, Claudia Lavegas, Ara Studio and Zhou Yilun. According to the outlet, Louis Vuitton has threaded these commissioned artworks and design pieces throughout the shop to heighten that gallery-like atmosphere.
Modern Luxury describes the interior as leaning into warm woods, macramé panels and sun-washed hues, with the sculptural staircase linking the boutique's multiple levels. The publication highlights the custom Alzer Pyramid, a tower of stacked trunks hand painted by the house's artisans, as a major visual moment that anchors the space.
What’s Inside
According to Time Out, the boutique carries the full range of Louis Vuitton women's goods, including leather pieces, accessories, ready-to-wear, shoes, watches, fine jewelry and fragrances, along with the house's signature trunks and travel items. The ready-to-wear selection reflects seasonal collections from women's artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière and is laid out across airy, gallery-style displays that echo the art-forward setting.
Design District Context
The Miami Design District has long sold itself as the place where art and high-end retail meet, which makes it a natural home for Louis Vuitton's latest art-focused retail experiment, according to the Miami Design District. The temporary boutique adds to a lineup of flagship stores and public artworks that has turned the neighborhood into a magnet for both shoppers and collectors.
Louis Vuitton is calling the storefront temporary, but its substantial footprint and ambitious art program have led some to wonder if it might stick around longer than advertised, a possibility noted in coverage by Modern Luxury. For now, visitors can check out the new women's boutique at 115 NE 41st Street. Photography used in the initial press coverage was supplied by Louis Vuitton.
