Machine Gun Kelly’s 27 Club Coffee is gearing up to bring its pop-punk, pink-tinged vibe to Wynwood, locking in a long-term home in the neighborhood’s retail core. The Cleveland-born concept mixes specialty whole-bean roasts, ready-to-drink beverages and branded merch with a music-and-art-heavy aesthetic. The Wynwood outpost is clearly designed to reel in both everyday coffee drinkers and fans of the musician’s lifestyle brand.
As reported by WhatNow, the company teased its Miami move on Instagram before announcing the plan publicly on a Thursday. Commercial listings show that 27 Club Coffee has signed a 10-year lease for a 2,778-square-foot space at 51 NW 23rd Street in the Wynwood Jungle building, according to LoopNet. That address lands the cafe on a high-traffic retail block that already pulls in both locals and tourists.
27 Club Coffee launched in Cleveland in 2020 and currently runs a flagship lounge along with an online shop that sells whole-bean roasts, subscriptions and branded apparel, according to the company’s website. The name and visual style lean heavily on rock-and-roll lore, nodding to the musicians who died at 27, and the concept folds music, art and merch into its core identity. The Miami location is set to be one of the brand’s first big swings outside Ohio.
What It Will Join In Wynwood
The Wynwood Jungle complex lists a mix of national brands and local favorites on its tenant roster, which could give 27 Club Coffee a built-in stream of curious walk-ins, per the LoopNet listing. The site sits within easy walking distance of galleries, dessert spots and established breakfast and coffee destinations that help power Wynwood’s daytime crowd. Property marketing and local chatter frame this stretch of the neighborhood as prime turf for food and retail operators chasing both tourists and regulars.
When To Expect It
Miami New Times reports that the Wynwood cafe is targeting an opening in the second or third quarter of 2026. The company has already rolled out a limited-edition commemorative T-shirt for the Miami launch through its online store, according to 27 Club Coffee. Early merch drops are very much on-brand for the company, which treats new locations like lifestyle events rather than your standard quiet cafe openings.
Whether 27 Club Coffee can earn a loyal following in Miami’s crowded coffee scene is an open question, but a high-visibility Wynwood address gives the concept a strong starting point. We will update this story once the company locks in a firm opening date and shares details on the Miami menu.
