
Gunfire inside an apartment at the Infinity260 complex in northeast Charlotte sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries Monday, just before lunchtime, according to officials. MEDIC said paramedics took the victim to a local hospital and described the injuries as serious.
According to WCCB Charlotte, investigators said the victim was shot inside one of the units. Crews at the scene saw officers canvassing the property after the incident on New Paradise Drive at the Infinity260 apartment homes, and detectives were working to sort out what led up to the shooting.

The Infinity260 community lists its location and amenities on its leasing page, placing the property in the Mallard Creek/University City area, according to Infinity260. The page lists a David Taylor Drive leasing office along with onsite amenities that include a saltwater pool and a 24-hour fitness center.
