A woman is in critical condition after an early Sunday shooting in downtown St. Louis that rattled the Washington Avenue corridor in the overnight hours, according to police.
The gunfire was reported around 1:53 a.m. in the 1300 block of Washington Avenue. The woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Authorities have not released her name.
