Springdale police said the shooting happened around 5:17 a.m. at the Extended Stay America Suites on Glensprings Drive, off Springfield Pike, and that adjoining rooms were evacuated as a precaution, according to WKRC Local 12. The station reports officers said the suspect ran off on foot and was described as a man wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans. The victim was taken to a hospital, but officials have not yet said how badly they were hurt.
