Downtown Fishers is about to trade quiet summer nights for a two-day neighborhood blowout as Spark!Fishers returns next weekend with free concerts, a choreographed drone show and a full Saturday street fair capped by fireworks. Friday night brings P!NK'D, a Pink tribute act, to the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater stage, followed by a drone display above the district. On Saturday, the festivities expand with multiple stages of entertainment, a Car + Art Show, a parade and a 10 p.m. fireworks finale. City officials are warning that road closures and tight on-street parking will be part of the package, so they are urging everyone to plan their routes in advance.
"It's our city's biggest celebration," Kara Hall, Fishers' marketing and PR manager, told WISH‑TV, calling the weekend lineup something that "truly has something for everyone." The station is slated to broadcast live from the event on Friday from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. as part of its coverage.
Lineup and schedule
Spark!Fishers, presented by Meijer, runs Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, and is anchored at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, according to the Fishers Parks Department. On Friday, gates open at 7 p.m., with P!NK'D set to hit the stage at 8 p.m. and the drone show expected to light up the sky at about 10 p.m.
Saturday's schedule is packed. Programming includes a Car + Art Show, live entertainment across seven stages from roughly 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., a parade stepping off at 7 p.m. and a fireworks finale at 10 p.m., the Fishers Parks Department notes.
Saturday street fair and Car + Art Show
The Saturday Street Fair will circle the municipal complex with vendor booths, family activities and a thrift-a-thon, turning the core of downtown into a walkable midway. Behind City Hall, the Car + Art Show will pair classic and muscle cars with regional artists, according to the Fishers Arts Council. Local makers, craftspeople and food trucks will round out the scene, creating one of Fishers' largest summer gatherings. Smaller stages scattered across the district will host community performances into the evening.
Getting there and accessibility
Organizers are strongly encouraging festivalgoers to park at Crosspoint Plaza 1 (10475 Crosspoint Blvd) and hop on the free shuttle to the Nickel Plate District. Shuttles begin running at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and will operate through midnight, according to the Fishers Parks Department.
The city also plans to provide accessible seating, sensory-inclusive bags, assisted listening devices and portable restrooms to help visitors with mobility or sensory needs fully take part in the events.
All Spark!Fishers events are free and open to the public. The only on-site costs will be purchases from food trucks and vendors. For a full schedule, maps and the latest closure notices, check local listings from Visit Hamilton County.
