The company behind the CloudTec® running shoes is expanding its American footprint with a dedicated shop in the city’s shopping corridor, giving local shoppers access to the full collection instead of just a curated rack at department store counters.
According to the Nashville Business Journal, On Inc. is planning a Green Hills location as part of that push. On’s Retail Game Levels Up
On has been steadily building out its own stores as it leans into a premium-brand strategy. In its Q1 2026 financial release the company said its owned retail locations "show further positive development" and highlighted future openings in cities including Stockholm, São Paulo and Sydney. Co-founder Caspar Coppetti put it this way in the report: "On is becoming more global, more multi-dimensional and more deeply rooted in different communities around the world." In a press release, On laid out that approach alongside its latest financial results.
The Green Hills shop would plug Nashville directly into that strategy, giving the brand another physical outpost where it can control everything from the product mix to the in-store experience. For runners, walkers and anyone who just likes the feel of those foam “clouds,” it means a local spot to test-drive more than the usual bestsellers.
Green Hills Keeps Drawing the Big Names
Green Hills has been a magnet for national and international retailers as the area moves further upmarket. Simon Property Group has already announced a more than $250 million plan to overhaul The Mall at Green Hills, promising new flagship entrances and "jewel-box" spaces designed for luxury boutiques, with more tenant announcements to follow. Simon said construction is expected to begin in 2026.
On is not exactly a stranger in town. The brand is already sold locally through premium partners, which means a built-in base of fans before the standalone shop even opens its doors.
