According to NBC Chicago, the spill was reported in the 800 block of West Taylor Street. The building involved houses several laboratories and department offices, including the Sustainable Energy Research Laboratory and UIC’s Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, which lists its campus location at 842 W.
