A Saturday shooting in South Memphis left a man fighting for his life after he was shot near a busy neighborhood intersection, police said.
Officers found the victim near Willie Mitchell Boulevard and East Trigg Avenue and rushed him to a hospital, where he remained in critical condition.
Memphis Police had responded to the area after reports of shots fired and discovered a male with apparent gunshot wounds, according to FOX13 Memphis. The station reported that officers described the man’s injuries as life-threatening and said the case remains under investigation.
