A Friday night confrontation on a residential stretch of Winkler Drive turned deadly in unincorporated north St. Louis County, authorities said, after a man was shot and later died at a hospital.
Officers were called to the 10100 block of Winkler Drive at about 8:15 p.m. Friday, where they found a man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
