Wynwood is about to get a new spot for sugar highs and coffee refills. Paris Baguette, the global bakery café chain, is set to open its first Miami storefront at Strata Wynwood later this month. The street-level space is tucked into a busy retail stretch where residents and visitors already camp out for breakfast runs and late afternoon pick-me-ups. Franchisee Cesar Paoli says the build-out is nearly done and his team is shooting for a late June grand opening.

As reported by WhatNow, the café is taking over 2217 N. Miami Avenue inside the Strata Wynwood development and is in "final permitting stages," with Paoli eyeing a late June debut. The outlet also notes that if the Wynwood launch hits its marks, Paoli has additional Miami-area locations mapped out in Pinecrest and Coral Springs.

Lease In A New Mixed Use Hotspot

According to Newmark, Paris Baguette is one of three fresh retail leases signed at Strata Wynwood and is expected to open by June 2026. The leasing announcement frames Strata Wynwood as a blend of residential units, office space and ground-floor retail that is designed to funnel steady daily foot traffic into the neighborhood.

Paoli told Business Debut the Wynwood café will clock in at roughly 3,000 square feet, with seating for about 40 guests inside and space for another 20 to 30 on an outdoor patio. He said he has spent a couple of years securing and building out the North Miami Avenue site and is treating the Wynwood location as a test run for a broader Miami push.

What Will Be In The Pastry Case

Paris Baguette's menu typically blends French-style baking with Asian-influenced sweets, with items like flaky croissants, mochi donuts, tiramisu tarts and full cake displays set alongside sandwiches and Lavazza coffee. Those offerings line up with what the brand promotes on its Florida location pages. Per Paris Baguette, cafés stock grab-and-go pastries, made-to-order sandwiches and cakes by the slice.

Expansion Plans And Wynwood’s Food Wave

Paoli told WhatNow he already has Pinecrest and Coral Springs on deck if the Wynwood shop performs the way he hopes. The timing lines up with Wynwood's broader food and beverage boom, as national and regional brands keep planting flags in the area. Axios Miami recently highlighted lease activity that brought H&H Bagels and Sanguich into the neighborhood this spring.

Paoli told Business Debut the team is putting the finishing touches on permitting and will lock in an official opening date once inspections clear. If the Wynwood café delivers as expected, he plans to move ahead with additional Miami-area locations, a rollout that would extend Paris Baguette's footprint across South Florida and beyond.
