
A 70-year-old woman was shoved to the pavement and robbed in Brooklyn last Wednesday night near Snyder Avenue and Bedford Avenue, in an attack that has neighbors on edge. Around 9 p.m., two people approached her, pushed her to the ground and ripped away her purse before taking off on foot, according to police. Authorities are urging anyone who saw what happened to speak up.

NYPD Crime Stoppers Posts 'Wanted' Alert
According to NYPD Crime Stoppers, the department posted a "Wanted for a robbery" alert stating that two suspects confronted the woman, shoved her to the pavement and stole her purse before fleeing on foot. The suspects are described as unidentified, and the post notes that the robbery occurred at about 9:00 p.m. Investigators say tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
