Police lights flooded the 6000 block of Browns Mill Road in Stonecrest late Sunday after a report of shots fired, and officers found one person with serious injuries. DeKalb County police shut down the roadway while detectives worked the scene and first responders treated the victim. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, DeKalb County police said preliminary information indicates the victim was seriously hurt, and officials have not yet confirmed the person’s identity or age. A FOX 5 photographer at the scene reported the 6000 block of Browns Mill Road was completely blocked off while officers collected evidence.
