On the West Side, a 48-year-old man was wounded during an attempted vehicle theft on the 1600 block of South Keeler Avenue and was listed in serious condition at Mount Sinai Hospital. Other victims included a 19-year-old shot in the stomach on the 2800 block of South Drake Avenue, a convenience-store worker hit by gunfire on the 300 block of East 47th Street and a 17-year-old boy grazed by a bullet on the 700 block of North Central Avenue, according to CBS News Chicago.

Officers said the Marquette Road shooting appeared to be domestic-related, and a firearm was recovered at the scene. Investigators are now sorting through witness statements and physical evidence, and they are leaning on neighbors for help.
