Yorkville officials say a new 7 Brew Coffee drive-thru is on deck for Kendall Marketplace, with construction expected to kick off this summer and a grand opening targeted for late 2026. The compact stand would sit near the main signalized entrance to the shopping center, giving morning commuters another quick-service stop as development along Route 34 keeps picking up steam.
According to the United City of Yorkville June EDC report, the coffee stand is planned for 938 Edward Lane and is designed as a roughly 510-square-foot building on a 0.78-acre parcel. The report notes that "7 Brew plans to be open in late 2026." Local outlet WSPY first reported the project and added that the pad is next to a proposed Olive Garden site at Kendall Marketplace. City planning records also show site-plan activity for 7 Brew earlier this spring.
About 7 Brew
7 Brew bills itself as a high-speed, double-lane drive-thru concept built around handcrafted coffees, energy drinks and heavily customizable drinks. The company spotlights its fast service and sprawling flavor lineup on 7 Brew, a model that has helped the brand spread quickly through suburban markets.
Site, schedule and regional growth
The same city report states that the Yorkville stand is planned for the main signalized entrance at Route 34 and Isabel Drive, with construction potentially starting this summer on the 510-square-foot building, pending final permits and contractor bids. The United City of Yorkville document also notes that 7 Brew currently operates 10 locations in the suburban Chicago area and is aiming to add 34 more stores in the region, for a total of 44, as part of an aggressive growth plan. Whether the Yorkville shop hits the late 2026 opening target will depend on permit timing and contractor schedules.
The 7 Brew plans arrive on the heels of a flurry of tenant news at Kendall Marketplace, including the Olive Garden rollout reported in June. For now, city and developer filings remain the best way to track firm timelines and site permits as the center continues to fill in over the next year.
