A young compliance-tech company has planted its Miami headquarters in Aventura, bringing a seven-person local team into a new office while preparing to add roughly 20 more in-person workers. The move gives Comp AI a South Florida base as it scales its software business and customer roster.

The new headquarters occupies about 6,000 square feet and is designed to support product development, operations and go-to-market teams, according to citybiz. Comp AI invested approximately $200,000 in renovations, creating flexible work areas, meeting rooms and space for customers, partners and employees visiting from other offices.

The hiring push is already visible on Comp AI's careers page, which lists Miami-based openings in engineering, growth and operations. Current postings include full-stack and growth engineers, a technical product manager, marketing and design roles, and recruiting positions, while the company says its broader 100-day plan calls for about 20 additional hires.

Aventura Office Doubles As Startup Showroom

Comp AI is building a workplace meant to feel more like a startup clubhouse than a beige compliance bunker. The office includes a speakeasy-style lounge, LED displays and a racing simulator, features that Refresh Miami reported were part of the company's South Florida build-out.

Behind the flashier office features is software aimed at a particularly tedious business problem: helping startups and high-growth companies manage security and regulatory requirements. Comp AI says its platform automates evidence collection, policy generation, continuous monitoring and vendor-risk work across frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and GDPR, according to the company's official website.

Comp AI was founded in 2025 and relocated its headquarters from New York to Aventura in February, while retaining smaller offices in New York City and Southampton, United Kingdom. Its LinkedIn profile identifies Aventura as the company's headquarters and lists the business as a privately held software company.

For Aventura, the practical payoff is the planned addition of 20 in-person positions spanning engineering, operations and customer-facing work. If the company follows through, its new headquarters will be more than a polished office for visitors—it will be the operating center of a young Miami-area tech employer still in its early growth phase.
