
HAMILTON — Last night, a fire tore through the Town and Country Furniture building on Dixie Highway, shutting down part of the busy corridor and leaving the storefront scarred. No injuries were reported, and firefighters from multiple departments stayed on scene late into the night while investigators went over the structure.
The blaze was reported around 8:45 p.m. at the Town and Country Furniture location on Dixie Highway, prompting a large response from Hamilton and Fairfield fire crews, according to WKRC Local 12. A portion of Dixie Highway was partially blocked as firefighters worked to knock down the flames and clear hazards from the area.

WLWT News 5 reported the fire was first noticed around 9 p.m., briefly shutting State Route 4 (Dixie Highway) in both directions while crews operated. The station’s on-scene coverage showed investigators heading into the building after firefighters got the flames under control, with neighbors describing how they first saw the fire.
