According to WSVN 7News, ambulances rushed to the busy intersection in the early morning hours. Miami Police officials told the station that at least two vehicles were involved and that a gray car slammed into a gas station sign, knocking it down and destroying it. The stretch of Northwest 17th Avenue has seen several violent wrecks in recent years. Surveillance video previously captured a car barreling into a storefront and injuring multiple people, as reported by Local 10.
