Yesterday's Florida Fantasy 5 drawings turned routine errands into a combined $166,453 payday, with a Lakeland Publix ticket and two gas-station tickets taking the top prizes.
The Lakeland Publix ticket matched the midday numbers 3, 6, 15, 27 and 29 for a $54,033 prize. In the evening drawing, tickets sold at a West Palm Beach BP and a Shell/Circle K in New Port Richey matched 16, 22, 23, 25 and 28, worth $56,210 each, according to the Miami Herald.
The Florida Lottery’s official results confirm the two winning combinations from July 29. With three winning tickets across two daily drawings, the state’s $100,000-ish game delivered a surprisingly tidy six-figure haul without producing a single giant jackpot headline.
Lakeland Publix Keeps Appearing In The Winner’s Circle
This is not the first recent Lakeland grocery run to end with a winning ticket. Earlier this month, Hoodline reported another Lakeland Publix hit, when a Quick Pick from the store won roughly $54,380 in a Fantasy 5 midday drawing.
Winners Need A Lottery Office To Claim The Money
Because each Wednesday ticket is worth more than $600, the winners cannot simply collect the money from the stores that sold the tickets. The Florida Lottery says prizes from $600 through $249,999 must be claimed at a district office, and draw-game prizes generally must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
