According to the Memphis Police Department, detectives posted the video on July 9. The suspect is described as a Black male with medium-length dreadlocks or braids, wearing a black pullover, black pants, and black slides, and carrying a gray backpack.
The department says two males, including the victim, exchanged gunfire during the incident and that the other individual in the shootout is still unidentified. The MPD advisory includes the surveillance clip and asks anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 901‑528‑CASH.
