Police Say Shots Came From Inside The Car
According to the Antioch Police Department, dispatchers first fielded complaints about loud music and a large gathering in the Metcalf Street area, then multiple 911 calls started coming in about gunfire. When officers arrived, they found a vehicle with three people inside and a fourth person standing nearby. The car had clear bullet strikes, and investigators say evidence showed at least one round was fired from inside the vehicle and exited through the windshield.
Inside, officers recovered a spent shell casing, an AR-style pistol tucked in a backpack on the rear seat, and a loaded handgun in one subject’s waistband. They also seized approximately 23 ounces of marijuana, which police say was found at the scene along with the firearms.
