Hendersonville police are asking for the public's help to track down a hit-and-run driver after a 15-year-old was struck from behind and left with a serious leg injury on Neverbreak Drive. The teen and a sibling were walking along the road when a vehicle hit the victim, then kept going without stopping. The 15-year-old was taken to Hendersonville Medical Center with what officers described as an open fracture to the left tibia.
Police: Surveillance Shows Dark-Colored Sedan
According to WSMV, officers responded to Hendersonville Medical Center once the teen arrived there and immediately began canvassing the neighborhood as part of an active investigation. Investigators obtained home surveillance video from a nearby resident that shows a dark-colored sedan traveling westbound on Neverbreak Drive shortly after the crash. Police say the driver did not stop, and the search for the vehicle is ongoing.

The injured teen was taken to TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center for treatment. The city’s police page lists the department’s non-emergency number as (615) 822-1111, according to the Hendersonville Police Department. Officers are urging residents in the area to check their doorbell or security cameras and report anything that might help fill in the gaps.
