A quiet Delray Beach block turned into a smoky scene on Tuesday afternoon when flames tore through a single-family home on Lone Pine Road, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky and drawing a heavy fire-rescue response. According to WPEC, Delray Beach Fire Rescue said the fire broke out on Lone Pine Road and, with help from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, crews "battled the blaze for most of the afternoon."
