A roughly 30-year-old man was rushed to a Miami trauma center Thursday night after a shooting left him with a torso wound, and he remained in critical condition Friday. The gunfire was reported near Northwest Second Avenue and 12th Street as detectives began piecing together what happened.
According to Local 10 News, Miami police Officer Kenia Fallat said the victim was shot in the torso. Miami Fire Rescue transported him to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, and police said the investigation was ongoing with no additional details immediately released.
