Officers were sent to the 3000 block of Travis Road after a shooting call and stayed on scene near West Peebles Road while investigators worked the area, according to Action News 5. The station reported crime-scene tape wrapped around the site and evidence markers scattered near picnic tables by a playground as detectives searched for clues. Police had not immediately said whether anyone was hurt, and no suspect description or other details about possible injuries were released in the initial hours of the investigation.
