
A quiet Tuesday evening in Pompano Beach turned deadly when a man was fatally stabbed along the 2500 block of East Atlantic Boulevard, and a suspect was detained at the scene as rescue crews rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
The stabbing happened shortly before 7 p.m., and Broward Sheriff's Office deputies found the man suffering from injuries when they arrived, according to WPLG Local 10. Rescue crews transported him to Broward Health North, where he was pronounced deceased, the outlet reported. Investigators said a suspect was detained, but they have not released any further details about that person.
