According to FOX 5 Atlanta, investigators say a 2013 Toyota Corolla was headed west on Riverside Parkway around 7:46 p.m. when it struck a person who was crossing the roadway just west of Premier Lane. The impact hurled the pedestrian into the center median, and emergency crews rushed the victim to a nearby hospital with severe injuries.
