A man was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition early Wednesday after being stabbed near the Tri-Rail and Metrorail transfer station in Hialeah. Miami-Dade Sheriff's deputies arrived just after 7:20 a.m. to a report of a stabbing at 1125 E. 25th St., where they found the victim suffering from apparent stab wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue took him to the hospital, and a woman who later returned to the scene was detained and also taken to a hospital with injuries.

According to WSVN, detectives with the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office said the victim had gone looking for a man and a woman, possibly tied to an earlier incident reported to Hialeah police. Investigators told WSVN that an argument broke out between the group and the victim was stabbed. The other two people took off on foot, and the woman later came back to the area, where deputies detained her and had her taken to a hospital.
