San Francisco firefighters rescued one adult this morning as crews worked to contain a one-alarm structure fire in a two-story, multi-residential building on the 300 block of Raymond Street.
The adult was turned over to San Francisco Fire Department paramedics for evaluation and is expected to be OK, according to an update from San Francisco Fire Department Media. Firefighters said they had made good progress confining the blaze to the structure, but the scene remained active and people were asked to avoid the area.

Firefighters Continue Working At Raymond Street Structure Fire
The fire department's initial update reported no injuries before crews rescued the adult from the building. Officials have not released the person's identity or provided additional details about the fire's cause.
San Francisco firefighters continued to extinguish hot spots and contain the fire inside the building as of the latest update. The department's public safety guidance says to call or text 911 for emergencies and use 311 for non-life-threatening hazards, according to the San Francisco Fire Department.
