An MPD CAD message captured by AlertDC described a lookout for a Black male about 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 7 inches tall, heavyset, wearing a white tank top and last seen in an older-model Land Rover. The CAD listed event number I20260324313. The alert urged anyone who spotted a white Land Rover in the area around the time of the shooting to contact police.
