A man was shot and killed Tuesday night at a Seventh Ward intersection, and New Orleans police are now working to piece together what happened.
The victim was found at North Rocheblave Street and Allen Street and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews. Authorities have not yet released his name or announced any information about a suspect or possible motive.
What authorities say
According to WDSU, officers were called to the intersection of N. Rocheblave Street and Allen Street shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday. New Orleans EMS arrived and pronounced the victim dead on the spot.
Police say detectives are continuing their investigation, but for now they are keeping further details close to the vest.
