Early Friday morning, a man in his late 60s was stabbed during a robbery in Miami's Little River neighborhood, authorities said. The victim was taken to a hospital, and police say they are actively working to figure out who attacked him and why.
What police say
Officials said they received a call about the crime in the area of Northeast Miami Court and Northeast 80th Terrace at 7:27 a.m. The victim, a man in his late 60s, was stabbed and had his wallet taken, and Miami Fire Rescue rushed him to a hospital. Police did not release any information about a possible suspect and said the case remains under investigation, according to NBC 6 South Florida.
