The first crash happened at approximately 6:30 p.m. near Southwest 22nd Avenue and 1st Street, where one officer was injured, according to CBS Miami. Miami Fire Rescue transported that officer to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Two additional Miami police officers were involved in a second crash while responding to the first scene, according to the City of Miami Police Department's public information officer. That collision occurred near Northwest 16th Avenue and West Flagler Street, creating a second emergency scene across the city.
Officials Have Released Few Details
Miami Fire Rescue transported all three officers to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where they were in stable condition, the station reported. The officers were not identified, and officials did not release information about the vehicles involved or any other injuries.
