Brooklyn Park police are searching for a 35-year-old woman who was last seen Sunday with her two children, a 7-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy. The family disappeared after leaving a Brooklyn Park address in a vehicle with Indiana plates.
According to CBS Minnesota, Britny Thomas has been missing since noon Sunday, when she left the 7000 block of Northland Circle North. Police said Thomas and the children have ties to Indiana, but authorities have not publicly provided additional details about where they may be headed.
Police Release Description Of Woman And Vehicle
Thomas is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Investigators are asking residents and drivers to keep an eye out for her and the children as the search continues.
Her vehicle is a blue-green 2022 Honda Accord with Indiana license plates reading 565COF, CBS Minnesota reports. Anyone with information about Thomas or the children is asked to call Brooklyn Park police at 952-258-5321.
